I've lived in Lancaster, Pa most of my life, raised by loving parents in a home always filled with people. (Still not quite sure how many "siblings" I really have!) I was home schooled through 12th grade so I had some extra time to get creative. As a young girl I was always trying to put an artistic edge on everything I did. I would draw pictures and make crafts and try to sell them for a dime from a shop I set up in the living room. My dad was my best customer! 

I always knew I wanted to do something creative and people oriented with my talents, I just couldn't figure out what. It wasn't until my late teens that I discovered my passion for photography, but I still wasn't sure how to turn that into a career. After traveling for half a year, working multiple jobs and being active in my church, I finally decided to get my Associates Degree in Business Studies. 

I soon began doing photo shoots with friends and family, and booking clients for family photos. I quickly discovered a love for capturing families, especially children and newborns, and I've been doing that to the best of my ability for nine years now. I love that photography has allowed me the flexibility to stay home with my two beautiful (and button pushing) girls. They will forever be my designated models, whether they like it or not. And I'm grateful for my amazing husband who supports my passion every day. In a nutshell, I'm just a stay at home mom chasing my dreams - and I love it! 

There's a saying that goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words." My favorite photographer, Ansel Adams, says something a little contrary and I have to agree. "A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words." It's my goal to give you a photograph that makes you fee, emits an array of emotions, and floods you with memories - without a single word. Everything about photography excited me! From the first click of the shutter, to the reaction when my clients see the final image. I put my all into each step of the photography process and I truly love it all. I believe God has given me this gift and I want to use it to the best of my ability for the joy of others. It's just a plus that it brings me joy as well.
